MIAMI - The Related Group of Florida and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. have announced the official launch of sales for the St. Regis Resort & Residences, Bal Harbour, scheduled to be completed in early 2009.

Located at 9701 Collins Avenue, the current home to the Sheraton Bal Harbour, St. Regis Resort & Residences, Bal Harbour, will be a luxury hotel, resort and condominium project comprised of 241 hotel-condo units and 270 private residences.

Related and Starwood have agreed to contribute $12 million to the community for displaced resort taxes during the St. Regis construction phase - to be used for further beatification of public spaces and municipal needs.

The project will include a 25,000sf luxurious Rem�de Spa, a restaurant, decorative fountains and pool features and signature St. Regis Butler service.
