Condo shopping online - The U.S. Condo Exchange, or www.uscondex.com, an online real-estate marketplace, has arranged for its condo inventory to be featured on www.primelocation.com, a Web site in the United Kingdom launched five years ago by independent real estate agents. Several Palm Beach condos listed for sale on USCONDEX will get exposure to an estimated 850,000 additional potential buyers, the agents say.

Industry statistics show that buyers from the UK account for one-third of all international buyers in Florida and other vacation-home states. Foreign home buyers also spend more for real estate than their U.S. counterparts, the exchange said.

A spring 2005 study by the National Association of Realtors showed that foreigners paid a median price of $299,000 for a vacation or second home in Florida, compared to the median for domestic buyers, at $196,200.

USCONDEX's listing fee is $149 per month or $449 until sold. The site aims to be the "eBay of the condo market," showing more than $10 billion in Florida condos.
